Music I Cannot Live Without (Day 19)

One of my favourite protest songs, released back in 1969 at the height of the Vietnam War. It still sounds remarkable and relevant today. It’s a classic, written performed by a band from California, yet they managed to have a Southern sound and were heavily influenced by early rock and roll, blues music and Motown.

Creedence Clearwater Revival – Fortunate Son

PS Never forget that Proud Mary was one of theirs. It is NOT an Ike and Tina original!
